hello to everyone reading! for the record, i've no idea how to start a blog, so i'm just going to anyway and see what happens. secondly, i'm not really into the design of this blog. um, at all. but that will change once i learn how to make it cooler-looking and etc...;) ....thirdly, i guess it really doesn't matter in the scheme of things. mainly, i really just want to put myself out there and let God have His way in my life to somehow do what only He can do in my sphere of influence. (which is now potentially worldwide, hollaaaa!) (dreamer in the house)- i'm making my faults; my life; my Jesus public, baby. later, i'll be sharing more deets about mi vida loca, that's filled with peace, despite every circumstance thrown my way.
this is why i'm here, afterall.....Jesus clarifies this for everyone who's born-again in matthew 5:13-16, "let Me tell you why you're here. you're here to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. if you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness? you've lost your usefulness and will end up in the garbage. here's another why to put it: you're here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. we're going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. if I make you light-bearers, you don't think I'm going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I'm putting you on a light stand. now that I've put you there, on a hilltop, on a light stand-shine! keep open house; be generous with your lives. by opening up to others, you'll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven."
therefore, i'm gonna so let my light shine (not because i'm perfect, or think i have it all together...because i so don't). i'm swayed to be real and point everyone to the Way, Truth and Life, Jesus the Christ.
this'll be fun....this will be slightly nerve-wrecking to be so insanely vulnerable online. we shall see how it unfolds.....:)
